Were I a local Conservative, I would be worried.

This month I joined a friend at a fundraiser for the Lib Dem candidate challenging Dominic Raab in supposedly rock-solid Esher. Lib Dem events, in my experience, are usually marked by chummy eccentricity lightly laced with desperation. This was a slickly run sit-down dinner, drawing hundreds of mostly well-heeled locals exuding crossness about Brexit; were I a local Conservative, I would be worried.
