Historic, Cross-Party Agreement, Facilitated by the Unite to Remain Campaign

Dear friends,

I am delighted to let you know that our seat is part of an historic, cross-party agreement, facilitated by the Unite to Remain campaign.

This independent group brought together the Liberal Democrats, Green Party and Plaid Cymru for discussions on how we can maximise the number of Remain MPs in the next Parliament.

As a result of these cross-party discussions, the Green Party candidate in our seat has stood aside to give us a clear run this time.

This is a brave decision that we should all applaud. Putting country before party and personal ambition is honourable, deserving the greatest respect.

It may be that we attract some members and supporters from other parties who want to come to help our campaign locally, offering delivery, canvassing or clerical help.

If you meet one of these visiting activists, please do give them a warm welcome, and thank them sincerely for coming to help us.

This is a great boost to our campaign, so please do come along to our HQ at:

Unit 5, Russell House,
Molesey Road,
Walton-On-Thames,
KT12 3PE

if you would like to help us make the most of this.

See you soon!

Monica Harding
Liberal Democrat Candidate for Esher and Walton
